Netflix for Books

BooksFree is a new website where subscribers rent books for a monthly fee. Writers Weekly addresses concerns from an author about rental books in this post.

I can’t say that I support a business that will take royalties away from authors, but I also wonder how many books the average reader could finish in one month? It really seems worth it to forgo the $9.99 monthly subscription fee and buy the book outright to be able to read it at your own pace.

SimplyAudioBooks  is another book rental site, but as its title suggests, focuses solely on audio books.
